I already have a Phantom door screen. Can I upgrade it to have the locking handle? 

Yes! If you already have a Phantom door screen with a latching handle, you can upgrade to have the latch stop. Call your nearest authorized Phantom distributor at 1-888-PHANTOM (742-6866).

*Please note latch stop is currently only available in Canada*

Help! I accidentaly locked myself out of my house. How can I get back in? 

Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. If you accidentaly left the slider locked and close the screen behind you, and you don't have anyone to let you back in, there's a simple solution: 

  1. Push in the mesh, to give it some slack
  2. Use the slack to allow you to reach in and move the slider up (to unlock it) 
  3. Unlatch, and open the screen! Don't forget to push the slider all the way up so it doesn't happen again.

Can latch stop be used on all Phantom's door screens?

Latch stop is available on Phantom's door screens with the latching handle – single, slididng patio or double door screens. So whether you have a Phantom screen on your front entry door, on the back sliding patio door, or double doors - latch stop can be used. 

I live outside of Canada. Can I get a latch stop, too? 

At this time, latch stop is only available in Canada. Be sure to stay tuned as we'll be launching this locking feature to the rest of North America very soon!
